Marriage to an alien who will be in US on a J-1 visa?
So i am from the US, my fiance from poland, he will be in the US on a student work visa J-1 how and where to we get a marriage license and what all info do we need to get it?

Marriage license laws depend on the state. To get the license, you will usually have to go to the county clerk's office. Search for your county's website, and it should have all the requirements online. That your fiance is an alien makes no difference. After you are married however, you can apply along with him for an expedited permanent residence (green card). Information on that is at the site below.
