Questions about Poland . . .?
I am 50% polish and both my Babci and Dziadzi speak it and my dad use to speak it and still know a little bit. Anyways I want to go the for the summer or as a exchange student, so I need to know . . . 1. Should I go as a exchange student or just go for the summer? 2. How much is a plane ticket from Georgia to Poland? 3. Where is the best place to stay there? 4. Is it expensive there? 5. Any other things I need to know please feel free to put! Thanks :)

1. if i were in your place, i would go over the summer 2. this summer when i was flying from illinois to poland i spent about $1,000 on a round trip ticket 3. if i were you, i would stay somewhere around where your family lives so they could show you around. 4. it all really depends. the ice cream is cheaper than it is here, and the electronics are much more expensive 5. some places i would suggest visiting are: Krakow, Gdansk, Warszawa, Wieliczka, Wadowice, Czestochowa...and i could go on forever....

1. I would go to Poland for summer, not as an exchange student! I guess you would want to enjoy your time there, not just sit in school and study! Especially that in Poland students really work their asses off. 2.If you buy your ticket in summer it might cost you a bit more than 1000, if you buy it earlier than the price will be better. The prices go up usually after mid May. 3. I guess you should stay with your family. However the best cities are for sure Krakow and Warszawa. 4. No it's not expensive at all. Everything should be at least 2 times cheaper than US or Canada. 5. Travelling from Poland in Europe is cheap. You might want to take advantage of visiting nearby countries and their capitals. They are really worth vising. Bratislava, Wieden, Budapeszt, Praga, Berlin etc.... I recently came to Poland for few months and now I'm traveling like everywhere because it's so cheap comparing to traveling from America ! While you are in Poland definetaly visit0 any of these Krakow, Warszawa, Zakopane, Gdansk, Sopot, Leba.... Have fun in Poland :)
