How do I know if my girlfriend loves me?
My girlfriend is a foreign exchange student from poland. We started dating 6 months ago, and after almost 3 months I dropped the L bomb on her. She broke up with me and said she didn't want to get in a serious relationship because she has to go back to poland. We started dating again a month after she broke up with me because the attraction was going again. Since then, we are a lot more close than the first time we dated. It has now been 3 and 1/2 months the second time around, and now I know for a fact I've fallen in love. She's leaving to go back to poland in one week. I'm afraid to tell her I love her again, because of what happened the first time. The problem is, it is different this time. I think she loves me back, but I'm not sure. Here are some examples of why I think this: A couple months ago, we were making out heavily, she stops and says, "I need you. You're my best friend" Things have progressed since then. A couple weeks go by and we're talking about our feelings. She sends me this text "I need you because you're the one person i can tell anything. And i need you because even though our homes are so far away we are really close. I mean that I think our priorities are really similar. I need you because when im with you i forget about everything what makes my heart go faster, because you are holding me close and let me not think about anything. I need you to help me stand up, after i've fallen down. I need you because you're always saying that everything will be good, and you're always on my side, ready to defend me." We continue to get closer and closer, and last night she told me that she had a dream. That I was the main character in her dream, and that instead of her leaving, I was the one going away. Does she love me? I don't get it. How do you know if a girl loves you back, and when you should tell her you love her? I don't want to regret not telling her before she leaves. I'm going to poland this summer, invited by her parents. I don't want to say it now, and ruin my vacation, but I don't know. Help me. i just graduated im 18 in 6 days

She knows how you feel. Let the ball be in her hands for now. If she does not tell you by the time she leaves, you can always do something super romantic when you know it will be the last time you see each other before she leaves, and tell her everything then. It's not worth pushing her away to tell her again.

Tell her in some amazingly romantic way, like... if you choose not to tell her before she leaves, (which I think maybe you should) when you go visit you should leave her a letter she'll find after you leave that tells her your feelings for her. Good luck, this is soo cute =D

Sounds like she's really into you. Honestly, I can see your predicament, but think about what will be worse: calmly, gently telling her how you feel before she leaves, but finding out she doesn't feel the same way? Or not telling her and spending the rest of your life wondering what she would have said? If I were you, I'd bite the bullet and tell her. It's a huge risk, but that's what love is about man. It's like I said in another Answer: it's like a casino. You gotta risk a lot to win a lot. I wish you the best. Let us know how things go.

You don't say how old you are, but I'm assuming you're in High school since she's an exchange student. Let me tell you something I learned (the hard way) in high school: Love and Need are two different things. You may love her, but I don't sense its the same for her. Sorry to be so blunt but in my experience if you question someone's love its usually not a good sign.

i think she does love you but i dont think you should tell her. i find it scary when a guy loves me more than i love him because i feel like i will hurt him. but you know her and i dont soo follow your heart. good luck.
