Where are good places to live & work in Europe for English speakers?
I am hoping to get a job somewhere in Europe =) always been a dream of mine! I was born in Poland, moved to Canada as a kid. I am getting a teacher's license...and hopefully a deaf education certificate (I want to become a teacher for deaf/hard of hearing students or overall a primary/junior teacher)...my husband is a medical technologist. any good European countries? THnks!

The UK, Ireland, Gibraltar. Three English speaking places. For the rest, you need to know the local language if you want to teach English. As for deaf education, if you sign ASL you will probably need to learn BSL if you go to UK, and local sign language for other countries Same thing for your husband, many countries (there's 42 countries in Europe) require a local medical degree, and fluency in the local language.

All the english countries. And The Netherlands could be good too. Everyone speaks english. I live in Amsterdam and some people here don't even speak dutch. They just speak english. I'm not sure if you could teacher for deaf kids but there are some international schools here where you could teach. And they also have something called TTO. If you go to a TTO school you don't go to an international school but you have all your classes in englisg. Except dutch class I guess.
