OK serious question cause I am kinda torn apart?

OK serious question cause I am kinda torn apart?
I am a law student from Poland and in first semester I do not have any classes ( yeah it's weird). Anyway I got a work permit from canadian embassy in Poland and now I'm not sure what to do - stay or go. I do have a job interview on wednesday in Toronto but its not a sure thing. Partly I'd love to go to Canada, new surrounding, new people, besides I like to travel. I feel like I would eventually find some job there. But from the other side I am a bit scared of costs of living there or getting a room, or not finding a job. That's why I am hesitating. If you have any advice please help, would really appreciate that. Thanks in advance I am talking of 3-4 months stay in Canada

Definitely try to secure a job first. Ask your friends, family, pull strings, ask for favours--but try to get a hook-up before you fly overseas. If you cant, and just plan on winging it, then why not. There are a lot of job opportunities here, Canada wasn't hit by the recession nearly as hard as other parts of the world. So odds are, yeah, you'd eventually get a job. If you want to play it safe, just make sure you have some money saved up first. Cost of living is exaggerated in Toronto, but still high. I recommend looking at Craigslist first to get a feel of what the prices are, and frequently referencing Google maps to make sure you're in the right area, or close to your job. Otherwise, Toronto is fabulous, and Im sure you'll love it, even if you do just end up visiting. While you're here, you could also visit Niagara Falls, Ottawa, even Montreal or Quebec City if you felt like it. Hope it works out :)

I've been to Poland to take my daughter to her 1st day at school, it was excelent why does the UK allow?
Anything other than integration? Had the school flag with the Polish eagle 'a' top, all the kids had to make an oath to be good students etc etc.. The flag a school moto on one side & the Polish flag on the other, I've no issue with that as my daughter is Polish citizen. Why doesn't the 'UK' bring in a similar thing? - English, Scots or Welsh flag & a commitment to integration? UK terms 1st day at Primeray school - she is nearly 7. Rachel, I'm not American but I can see the Balkanisation of the UK - it is not multiculturislism! Or a European thing other than the UK!

Because we simply don't need it. We know how to behave we don't need to make a promise about it. I mean how many people keep their promises? eh not many. Plus, and im not trying to offend anyone but doing that sort of thing is an American type thing. British people are not American therefore why should we follow the same procedures?

Should I tell her I love her?

Should I tell her I love her?
I've been with my girlfriend twice. She is a foreign exchange student from poland. The first time we were dating, we were dating for about 2 1/2 months. I told her I loved her too early and she broke up with me. She said that she didn't want to get in a serious relationship before she went back to poland. Anyway a month went by and I got the attraction going again and we've now been dating ever since. We just hit 5 months a couple weeks ago, 3 if you don't count the first two months. We've gotten really really close since then, and she is leaving in 7 days. I don't think I really loved her before, but now I know for a fact I do. I love her deeply and I don't want to see her go. I'm afraid to tell her how I feel because I don't want to push her away again. Even though she's leaving, I'm going to Poland for a couple weeks this summer, so I'm afraid to drop the L bomb. How do I know if I should or if she's ready? brittany, you're fuckin stupid... your answer is irrelavant she always talks about how much she's going to miss me, last night she told me she had a dream that I was the one leaving and not her.

Well look 7days is too less to know anything. You should have started preparing her mentally atleast 2-3 weeks back. However, what you can do is tell her. I mean you'll atleast try. If she says no then however, she's gonna go. Try your best to get a yes. Best of Luck mate.
2 :
Why don't you ask her if she is looking for a serious relationship first...
3 :
ask her to see wat she feels about the relationship now.she probably dont want to say it ethier because there is someone else but ask her how do she feel and y do she keeps traveling back and fourth
4 :
sure go for it answer me plz http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100523180920AAnU69M
5 :
Don't drop the L bomb again but ask her you know about taking your dating to another level.....like a relationship and see how she responds just ask her but don't make it seem like you need an answer right then and there keep it simple. You can't force someone to like you as much as you like them if meant to be then its meant to be if not even though it may be hard you may have to just move on if she doesn't feel the same way by now.
6 :
Well if you love her, then i say let her know. 5 months is long enough for someone to fall in love and seriously if she didn't love you back..they why is she hanging around? Oh and tell her this: kocham cie [ko-hum-cher]. Which is 'i love you' in polish :)
7 :
you know that song by John Mayor? "Say What you Need to Say" "it is better to say too much than to never have said what you needed to say." that is pretty much my motto. answer mine please? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100523225538AAIykCw
8 :
If i were you i would save it. If you are going to Poland to see her in the summer you should hold off because if it does push her away then your summer plans may be ruined. I would say save it for the trip over there, and near the end, because by going over there she will have the satisfaction of knowing you would travel at length to be with her, as in a way to prove your love.
9 :
You scared her the first time, and maybe you'll scare her again if you say it again. However you say you've gotten to be really close with her, so maybe she'll accept it this time and maybe she feels it back. Is she always talking about leaving or is she talking about how much she'll miss you? If it's the latter, you can probably assume she has feelings for you. If it's the first, maybe you shouldn't say anything more than "I'll miss you" because you just never know. Since you'll be going to Poland anyway over the summer, I think that you should wait. You've only been dating 5 months, 3 months, whatever it is. I would want you to wait and let the love either grow or diminish before you speak anything...
10 :
I think some people get a little scared with the whole usage of the word "love". Some people have heard it before and gotten hurt so that makes them apprehensive, or they associate it with straight away leading to things like marriage etc. Others are comfortable with it and think along the lines of: what is wrong with vocalising it if it is what I feel? So you have to decide what you're comfortable with, what you think she is comfortable with, and what the consequences of either saying it or not, could be. I think SHOWING love is very important and if you are doing that, sometimes that can be enough for a person to know how that person feels, without them having said it. If you feel that she might pull away again, think about how you would feel with just showing it and not saying it yet. If you think you can deal with this then maybe hold off a bit. But if you feel you are just bursting and need to tell her, just say it. She can either say she feels the same or get scared, or say nothing. Who knows what the outcome will be, but if you feel that it is something you really want to say, just do it and don't regret...if she isn't the one that loves you back or can at least handle the fact that you love her, then another girl in the future will... At the same time if you feel that you can be with her without having said it, then just go with the flow and enjoy the relationship without putting the words to it. good luck :o)

my best edvice is to tell her "babe... i know ur going 2 b leaveing... and im not going not 2 see you... and im going 2 miss you all kinds... so b4 u leave i wanted to tell you... i dont think i love you but i 4 shure know IM FALLING IN LIKE WITH YOU..." any girl who doesnt think that is cute is out of this world...but annyways i think she will like it and maybe say the same... Just do it! Living overseas is one of the most rewarding and excellent experiences ever! I moved to Berlin (from Australia) for about a year, and even though I had no job for quite a while, didn't really know how to get an apartment or do anything, I worked it out and feel like the challenge really really was worth it. Also - Canadian people are really nice, so I'm sure you'll meet lots of new friends and have a great time. Go for it!!!

where find volunteers in Worcester MA.?

where find volunteers in Worcester MA.?
Who would help a disabled 36 year old student from Poland, who comes as an exchange student to finish his Masters Degree. Where can I find in Worcester institutions helping the disabled?

Try your local United Way & Health and Human Services....They can help and direct you to help you are in need of......Good Luck !
2 :
Check with your college. They should have a disability services office and a foreign exchange student office - both which should help.
3 :
See if there is an Independent Living Center in Worcester, MA. That may be your best chance. Second choice may to try the United Way if there is one in the area. It is hard to find people who will do that sort of work for $8 an hour (and do a good job, along with being safe for you), let alone one who will do it for free. Especially if you need someone on a regular basis. You can also see if Poland has an agreement with the United States Social Security Administration as far as transferring any benefits you get in Poland to the United States system. I doubt it will help, but it is worth a shot. Most programs require you to be eligible for the State's Medicaid program, and those services would be covered under the "Medicaid Waiver Program", but since you are not a citizen, odds are you would not qualify for MassCare which I believe is the MA State Medicaid program. Hope this helps, there are no easy answers, but private organizations such as an Independent Living Center or the United Way MAY be your best shot, but even there I do not expect you to have too much luck. But "nothing ventured, nothing gained". Take Care, Robbie

How do I know if my girlfriend loves me?

How do I know if my girlfriend loves me?
My girlfriend is a foreign exchange student from poland. We started dating 6 months ago, and after almost 3 months I dropped the L bomb on her. She broke up with me and said she didn't want to get in a serious relationship because she has to go back to poland. We started dating again a month after she broke up with me because the attraction was going again. Since then, we are a lot more close than the first time we dated. It has now been 3 and 1/2 months the second time around, and now I know for a fact I've fallen in love. She's leaving to go back to poland in one week. I'm afraid to tell her I love her again, because of what happened the first time. The problem is, it is different this time. I think she loves me back, but I'm not sure. Here are some examples of why I think this: A couple months ago, we were making out heavily, she stops and says, "I need you. You're my best friend" Things have progressed since then. A couple weeks go by and we're talking about our feelings. She sends me this text "I need you because you're the one person i can tell anything. And i need you because even though our homes are so far away we are really close. I mean that I think our priorities are really similar. I need you because when im with you i forget about everything what makes my heart go faster, because you are holding me close and let me not think about anything. I need you to help me stand up, after i've fallen down. I need you because you're always saying that everything will be good, and you're always on my side, ready to defend me." We continue to get closer and closer, and last night she told me that she had a dream. That I was the main character in her dream, and that instead of her leaving, I was the one going away. Does she love me? I don't get it. How do you know if a girl loves you back, and when you should tell her you love her? I don't want to regret not telling her before she leaves. I'm going to poland this summer, invited by her parents. I don't want to say it now, and ruin my vacation, but I don't know. Help me. i just graduated im 18 in 6 days

Don't worry about labels. You've got a good thing going, junior. Keep your mouth shut. She KNOWS how you feel.
2 :
You need to just talk to her. We can't tell you anything you don't already know.
3 :
she does loves you answer my question? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100524125353AAd7f3c&r=w

She knows how you feel. Let the ball be in her hands for now. If she does not tell you by the time she leaves, you can always do something super romantic when you know it will be the last time you see each other before she leaves, and tell her everything then. It's not worth pushing her away to tell her again.
5 :
Tell her in some amazingly romantic way, like... if you choose not to tell her before she leaves, (which I think maybe you should) when you go visit you should leave her a letter she'll find after you leave that tells her your feelings for her. Good luck, this is soo cute =D
6 :
Sounds like she's really into you. Honestly, I can see your predicament, but think about what will be worse: calmly, gently telling her how you feel before she leaves, but finding out she doesn't feel the same way? Or not telling her and spending the rest of your life wondering what she would have said? If I were you, I'd bite the bullet and tell her. It's a huge risk, but that's what love is about man. It's like I said in another Answer: it's like a casino. You gotta risk a lot to win a lot. I wish you the best. Let us know how things go.
7 :
You don't say how old you are, but I'm assuming you're in High school since she's an exchange student. Let me tell you something I learned (the hard way) in high school: Love and Need are two different things. You may love her, but I don't sense its the same for her. Sorry to be so blunt but in my experience if you question someone's love its usually not a good sign.
8 :
i think she does love you but i dont think you should tell her. i find it scary when a guy loves me more than i love him because i feel like i will hurt him. but you know her and i dont soo follow your heart. good luck.

Have I Lost My Chance?

Have I Lost My Chance?
Okay, so I'm a Junior in High School, and I'm pretty shy. This foreign exchange student from Poland, who I have a crush on, happens to be in my History class that started last Tuesday. She sat right in front of me and I think she was interested in me at first. We talked the first day pretty easy, but ever since then, it's been hard for me to strike a conversation. It's been a week now, is it too late for me to start talking to her, or have I lost yet another chance due to shyness?

no its never too late! good luck! :)
2 :
nope
3 :
just ask her out and if she turns you down you can move on and stop wasting time! i hate it when guys are shy and do nothing... a big turn on is a confident guy that goes for what he wants!
4 :
dude, you can totaalllly talk to her aqain! :]
5 :
Its never too late. Dont give up, keep trying to win her heart. Goodluck!!!
6 :
its never too late...just go for it! once you get over the initial shyness and start chatting it'l be so much easier after that and soon you'll be chattign to her like she's one of your close friends. Good luck :)
7 :
nice guys finish last. But it's never to late. you gotta giver her something so she knows your into her dude.
8 :
Nahh, dude. Talk to her. Girls ALWAYS want you to talk to them first. Trust Me :)
9 :
a week is not very long at all. You still have a chance.
10 :
umm no go ahead and talk to her wht do you have to loose?
11 :
ofcourse its not too late.
12 :
nahhh I'm a girl who is 16 A week is nothing, if she really actually likes you. Talk to her the next day you see her. Just ask if she has an extra pencil you could borrow or ask for a sheet of paper or something. oh, and don't be like "Hey, can i have a pencil" Say her name! Then she'll be be like to herself in her head "Omg he said my name heheheh llalalalla" Oh and then when you have to give her pencil back at the END of class, just start walking out with her then walk her to her next class or to her locker. and be like talk to you later/see ya or whatever Okay, don't worry about it. GOOD LUCK!
13 :
its DEFINATELY not too late. you should try talking to her about an assignment, or something stupid like , can i borrow a pencil. if any of your friends talk to her , try talking to you friends while their around her, then strike a conversation with her. perfectttt baaaabby ;)
14 :
It is definitely not to late. ask her how her classes or going. or just throughout the class make comments about the stuff your learning or if something funny happened.and dont let your shyness get in the way. i am a pretty quiet person but just have confidence. If you don't have anything to say i wouldn't force it, but even shy people have something to say every once in a while.
15 :
It's never too late. She's an exchange student, talk to her about Poland, how she likes it here, it will grow better from there. Good luck.
16 :
No, of course not! But you have to talk to her or she could feel that your not very interested. Goodluck sweetie!
17 :
nahh just talk to her again!!!!:)
18 :
No its not. Shyness can be an attractive characteristic to many girls. However keep in mind that they enjoy someone with a good humor and that provokes some type of communication. Girls enjoy talking about themselves so ask her about Poland and if she likes it here and during that process you can simply ask well what do you do onthe weekends and go from there. you seem like a good guy so it shouldnt be hard to get more comfortable with her. Good luck
19 :
i think you still have a chance you just have to approach her soon. you should be like do you wanna go out to do...(something american that they dont do) and then she'll be like what is that and then you can say you dont know what it is? oh its really cool or fun or whatever you have to try it. or you can jusr ask her out to do somehting simple.dont be shy because im pretty sure that if she was interested in you before you have a chance. i know its hard not to be shy when your a shy person but you should have a little more confidence since you say you think she was interested in you before. hope it all works out:)
20 :
Oooo well put yourself in this girls position, ok well i will. She got on well with you the first day but you haven't spoken to her since, well she might think that you didnt like her. Sooo most girls expect guys to be forward and that they have to do all the chasing, im a girl and i suffer from shyness and i have let so many chances slip through my fingers lukily most guys take the lead but you are a guy which is hard for you. Purposly walk past this girl or sit by her and smile and say hello, pretend you dont know the answers and ask her. Dont leave it too long because she might think you dont like her. When you do eventually make conversation ask her if she has an email or soemthing and you can chat on there. Also she is a foreign exchange student she is going to be feeling pretty alienated so make her feel welcome and just talk about any random thing that comes into your head! Good luck!
21 :
no, its never too late. maybe u can ask 2 meet each other some time. or walk her 2 her next class. deer r a ton of ways to get her attention, but overcome ur shyness.
22 :
Let me give you a brief language lesson... The word "Gentleman" is really a combination of two words: GENTLE and MAN. Gentle can be defined as "affable, agreeable, benign, meek, trained... and nice." Man can be defined as "boy, chap, dude, or... guy." GENTLE MAN = NICE GUY. The concept that the two are any different at all just doesn't work. Saying you're a "gentleman" who doesn't know how to flirt, is the same as saying "I'm a man who likes to be nice to women and get nothing in return." Now, if that's what you want, by all means, consider yourself a "gentleman." You'll get a lot of nice smiles, and "thank yous" from the women... Right before they go home with another guy who ISN'T YOU. But here's where I think you're getting confused... You don't NEED to be a jerk to easily attract women. It is possible to be NICE to women and have them be attracted to you. But you can't simply be a sexually-neutered "nice guy" or "gentle man." You NEED to have an aspect of male sexuality to your personality (i.e. flirting and teasing).
23 :
No. Ask her a question about your work, homework, classwork, anything. If you text, ask her for her # If your a guy, don't be shy!! Guys shouldn't be shy. Get over it,be a guy, which is making a fool of themselves.
24 :
Not at all, she must be the shy one, if she is from polland... but now you must move! why dont you talk to her more... how did you started you first conversation? Try again in the same way... Become her dearest friend... Find out things that she like and talk about them in front of her... try to to make her talk more than you d.. be a good listener... Now could you help me: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjDpF1CFRMXuR01Mp1ilLdzsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20100126150933AAxBpbS
25 :
You have already answered your own question. Girls love being flattered. If you walk up to her before class one day, and say, "Hey, I have missed not speaking to you after our first day in class. Sorry for acting so shy, would you like to get together (wherever you youth hang these days), I would love to hear more about you" Do that with confidence and suck up your shyness for the 15 seconds it will take to say that, and even if she acts like she's brushing you off (which I expect she won't based on your previous conversation with her) you will absolutely make an impression.
26 :
Never to late but I don't think it's due to your shyness though to me this always happens....you finally talk to the one you like and then after that it's as though that's the only thing you wanted and that's it. But all you have to do is try to start another conversation, put your shyness aside because sometimes when your shyness takes over you you lose your oppurtunity. It's not to late...if you really like her that much you would act like you have the highest self esteem and confidence.
27 :
Go (conversationally) for all the marbles--ask her to see a movie with you or go grab dinner somewhere that's not fancy but isn't McDonald's, either. She might like a bold question and it gives her a chance to give you thumbs up or not on whether or not you guys have a future. If she says "no", then you definitely know where you stand. If she says yes then don your best cologne and take her out and have some fun. Girls your age are much more mature than guys are so surprise her, be bold and show how much you care about her. And you do, 'cause you wouldn't have posted to this forum if you didn't like her.
